Our goal is a single reliable place where a home cook can compare options without sorting through marketing copy.
Our Team
Lena Whitfield leads our dishwasher and vacuum sealer coverage, focusing on place-setting capacity, noise level and seal performance relative to price. Marcus Bell writes the buying guides and how-tos for meat grinders, food slicers and grain mills, translating wattage figures and owner feedback into plain buying advice. Sofia Reyes covers smaller prep and preservation tools, including vacuum sealer bags and electric wine openers, judged on durability, ease of use and owner feedback. The ShopperScout Research Team builds and maintains our category rankings and underlying data.
How Our Rankings Work
Every product in a ShopperScout ranking is a real, purchasable item from a verifiable brand. We require a minimum of 100 verified reviews or 100 confirmed purchases, a star rating of 3.8 or higher and a real manufacturer behind the product. Ranking order is determined by a combination of rating, review volume, confirmed buyer demand and price. We do not accept payment to alter a ranking position.
Independence and Compensation
ShopperScout earns revenue through affiliate commissions when readers click a link and make a purchase. This commission does not change the price a buyer pays and does not influence which products appear in our rankings or what position they hold.
